It is designed as a modern tree house, with massive wood pillars, expansive palapa roof, smooth colored concrete surfaces and tile floors decorated with rock inlay. Villa Zanzibar is beautifully furnished with Equipale furniture and filled with hand crafted Mexican art. We are always adding new pieces to the collection. The dining room and living room faces the ocean and has incredible views of the Bay, Playa La Ropa, Zihuatanejo, Puerto Mio and the Pacific Ocean. This is an excellent location to get to know the local birds. The trees surrounding the house are filled with giant exotic jays, humming birds, Mot Mots, Cacao and many others. Wild parrots are often heard and seen flying by in the mornings.
