The northernmost (major) town on Baja's Sea of Cortez, San Felipe is a popular retreat for snowbirds. It's miles of wide beaches experience a huge tidal variation and are therefore great for shelling and walking. There]s a busy harbor where shrimp boats congregate, but sport fishing and tourism are now the town's largest sources of revenue.
