Los Mochis
Near but not right on the Pacific, Los Mochis is hot, humid, and bustling with low-key commerce. It’s a friendly if unexciting city with plenty of seafood restaurants. Many tourists come exclusively to board the Chihuahua al Pacifico railway, which puffs off to points east at 6AM.
