Las que hacen en Guanajuato y en San Luis Potosí son tortillas gordas de masa de maíz rellenos de carne, frijoles, nopales y queso, u otras ingredientes. Luego se frien o a veces se cocinan directamente en el comal. (There are lots of different kinds of gorditas, made in different parts of Mexico. The kind they make in Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí are very fat corn discs stuffed with meat, beans, cactus and cheese, or other ingredients. They are then fried or sometimes just cooked right on the griddle.)
