Climate Conditions: With a privileged altitude of 550 meters (1,800 feet) above sea level and a distance of some 45 km (just 28 miles) from the coast, Colima enjoys a comfortable climate year-round. Although the sun can shine bright and hot (there are an average of 350 sun-shiny days per year), evening brings cooler temperatures often accompanied by nice breezes. The rainy season is mid-June through mid-September.
