Spanish: Aunque Sean Del Mismo Barro, No Es Lo Mismo La Olla Que El Jarro.

Type: Proverb

Literal Meaning: Although made of the same clay, a pot is not a pitcher.

Meaning: We may be all made of the same clay but not cut of the same cloth.

(Tomás thinks he can do Jaime’s job while the accountant is in the hospital, but as I said to Mariana, “We may be all made of the same clay but we are not cut of the same cloth.”)
