La rosca de reyes se come con la familia entera el día 6 de enero, la epifanía o Día de Reyes (en honor a los reyes magos que según la Biblia visitaron el niño Jesús ese día). Este pastel sabroso en forma de anillo se hace con harina, huevo, levadura, biznaga, almendros y un poco de ron. Adentro del pastel se esconde uno o más muñequitos de niño Jesús. A los invitados que encuentran una muñeca en su pedazo de pastel les toca invitar a los tamales en el convivio del día de la Candelaría, el 2 de febrero.
