ENSENADA TRAVEL GUIDE
Don't Miss the fish tacos!
Ensenada is famous for its fish tacos. Batter-fried white fish is tucked in a corn tortillas warmed on the grill.
Add shredded cabbage, a squeeze of lime, and the condiments of your choice: guacamole, green or red salsa, chopped onions or cilantro.
Many locals recommend El Fenix at the corner of Calles Espinosa and Juarez (AKA 5th Ave.). Pay less than 10 pesos for a delicious fish or shrimp taco with all the trimmings to eat on the street. If you don't feel like venturing five streets in from the main tourist area, booths at the fish market sell them, too, and have places to sit as well. Buy some smoked tuna or marlin while you're at the fish market, on Blvd. Costero near the corner of Calle Miramar.
