Boutique Hotel San Felipe El Real
2015-03-03 08:37:43 Listing # L2453 6

HOTEL BOUTIQUE SAN FELIPE EL REAL WELCOME Right in the heart of Historical District of Chihuahua city, was built this house in the XIX Century, located on top of the ruins of the Presidio de Perez, and old military prison, in a zone where orchards bloomed, years ago in the old Villa of San Felipe the Real, origin of the present City of Chihuahua. The sober but elegant facade hides the inner beauty of the building. An explosion of colors, the jingle of running water and long ago aromas bring us back to the daily life of the nineteen in the north of Mexico. THE HOTEL The life in the house turns around the central patio, heart of the propriety around which the different stays are arranged: Reception, Library, Kitchen-Dining Room and 6 Suites. Each one of the Suites is unique and has been decorated with old furniture and antiques like brass and bronze beds, some of them with canopy and wood lockers.

Capital of the state of Chihuahua (the largest state in Mexico), this northern Mexico city is modern but has historical buildings and churches in its city center. It figured in both the War of Independence and the Revolution, and has several worthwhile museums.

At 1,455 meters (4,774 feet) above sea level, Chihuahua City sees frost and sometimes even snow November through March. Daytime temps are usually in the high 20s to 30s (90s Fahrenheit) May through early September, when nighttime temperatures dip into the teens (70s, Fahrenheit). The rainiest months are July, August and September, averaging however just 82 mm (3.2 inches) per month. The month of highest heat and humidity is June.
