Aticama InfoAticama is a small fishing village on the Pacific Coast, just south of San Blas. Here the foothills of the Sierra Madre meet the Pacific Ocean; its natural beauty and convenience to towns and beaches north and south draw an increasingly large North American community of rat-race dropouts and retirees. In the summer months it is hot and muggy. It gets up to 95. The winters are perfect beach weather. Almost all the rains come in the summer.
